This year, the Rome Chamber Music Festival, the festival of international chamber music founded by the American violinist Robert McDuffie, celebrates its 14th consecutive edition. The festival has always been combined with the classic masterpieces and contemporary experimentation: from baroque to bluegrass, through Brahms, Bruch, Beethoven, Saint-Saens, with world-famous performers and winners of the De Simone Young Mission.
The open rehearsals during the day will begin next 2nd June in Palazzo Barberini and Domus Romana, while the evening concerts will take place from 4th to 8th June (the concert on 4th June is only by invitation). If you are curious and want to find out more about the fourteenth edition of the Rome Chamber Music Festival, the event is scheduled for 10th April at 7.30 pm, with the presentation event at the LUISS ENLABS spaces in Via Marsala 29H. Robert McDuffie will introduce the new program entitled Baroque, Bluegrass and Brahms: a rich variety of different musical genres, played by legendary figures such as Edgar Meyer and selected young performers among the most talented in the international scene, supported by De Simone & Partners Young Artist Program.
