On April 12th was held at the WeGil building in Trastevere the Grand Finale of AI WorkLab, the incubation program on artificial intelligence launched by LVenture Group and LUISS ENLABS in partnership with BNL Group BNP Paribas, BNP Paribas Cardif, Sara Insurance, Cerved Group and Payback.

The event gave the opportunity to the startups that have concluded the program to present at an interested audience of corporate representatives, institutions and specialized press their business projects based on AI technology, which is increasingly crucial for technological progress, and the development of innovation in the world of business and institutions.

The program, carried out within the framework of Open Innovation initiatives promoted by LVenture Group in partnership with corporate companies to create connections between start-ups and large companies in the innovation field, has marked important numbers. The call saw the presentation of 220 applications and was fed by a 5-stage roadshow (held in October and November in collaboration with partner companies) that has touched the cities of Turin, Trento, Pisa, Rome and Naples and brought to see live 35 different projects.

Of the 10 startups selected for the AI WorkLab course, 9 have managed to finish the program, by presenting its projects, all carried out in specific related areas of artificial intelligence (InsurTech, Document & Data Management, Customer Behaviour, Cybersecurity):

-AI Med is a voice assistant dedicated to home health who, based on the data collected by IOT, which can be worn and processed by the AI engine, alerts people about possible future illnesses;

-Getcoo has developed DART (Direct Acquisition and ReTrieval), a proprietary artificial intelligence technology for Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) that identifies specific objects and not categories compared to competing solutions;

-MultiplAI uses AI technology in the healthcare sector, focusing on the complex integration of multimodal data to create new knowledge and identify with certainty which therapies and drugs will produce the most effective results for individual patients;

-MyMedReport is an encrypted cloud platform efficiently connected with the user, private analysis lab and treating physician, offering a comprehensive and intelligent blood analysis management service;

-Pigro offers virtual customer care assistants, which can respond to up to 70% of requests without human intervention, retrieving responses from existing data sets;

-Priya is the first multi-sensorial device with AI that takes care of children from their first days of life, continuously monitoring their well-being and promptly alerting the parent in case of need with detailed alerts, in real time, on the smartphone;

-Secretairy is a chatbot that allows you to automatically receive customized reports simply via messages or emails, thus improving the efficiency of companies;

-TrueYou provides accurate psychometric analysis of users' personalities, using their social profiles to effectively match compatible personalities and thus help to achieve more meaningful interactions without any misunderstanding;

-Verse is a platform that uses crowdsourcing and blockchain to enable every AI to learn and converse in a more equitable and efficient way, providing people with ownership of their work and companies with essential tools to create better artificial intelligence.

With the AI WorkLab program, the start-ups received a grant and followed a three-month course that, through the operational support of the team of experts of LVenture Group, LUISS ENLABS and of partner companies, has transformed innovative ideas into real business projects: "We have succeeded in developing projects which, starting from an embryonic stage, are now able to cope with the market and present themselves to corporates and investors" - said Augusto Coppola, Managing Director of LUISS ENLABS - "The involvement of our partners in this respect is fundamental, thanks to their ability to identify opportunities for project development.
