Yesterday we hosted Jonathan Ortmans, President of GEW and Senior Advisor of Kauffman Foundation, along with Alessandro Fusacchia, Advisor to the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs. During the event, Ortmans announced that Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2015 will be held in Milan in March 2015, immediately before the beginning of the EXPO 2015.

The GEC is an inter-disciplinary gathering of startup champions from all around the world. During the meeting, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, thought leaders and policymakers work together to help bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.

The 4-day events will bring to Italy thousands of entrepreneurs, investors and innovators from more than 140 countries worldwide, offering extraordinary opportunity for sharing ideas, networking and business.

GEC 2015will be an opportunity to confirm the Italian Government's strong commitment towards new innovative business, as witnessed by three major policies adopted over the last 18 months, as Alessandro Fusacchia stressed during the event.

In the past two years, LUISS ENLABS and LVenture Group helped growing more than 30 startups and creating more than 150 jobs, attracting venture capital investments for 5.5 millions. “We are working to boost these performances for the years to come and of course we will work hard to have a positive impact on the economy, helping growing entrepreneurial culture in our country”, concluded Luigi Capello.
