In September, BaasBox, a startup developing a software that provides general back-end services to create apps for all your devices, has released the new version of their native SDK (software development tools for the creation of applications) for Android and iOS platforms, and have completely rewritten the JavaScript SDK from the ground up.

Furthermore, BaasBox has addressed multiple minor issues and some performance bottlenecks.

BaasBox is still growing, giving you access to more and more functionalities, that will become available in October with the next release BaasBox 0.9.0. Stay tuned!

The guys are working on server side scripting. This will allow developers to extend the application programming interface provided by BaasBox with custom functions, expose new endpoints, add hooks to events on the server and schedule tasks to be executed periodically.
